Can I take a break from the app?

Yes, absolutely. You can take a break at any time if you feel like you need to step away and recharge. We know how easy it can be to stay engaged and keep scrolling, especially when you’re connecting with others and offering support. But taking care of yourself matters just as much as showing up for others.

That’s why we’ve introduced features to help you step away when you need to. We believe that self-care is one of the biggest challenges we all face today, and sometimes the best thing you can do is pause, reset, and give something back to your mind and body.

To take a break, go to the app’s sidebar and open Settings. From there, navigate to the Well-being section and select “Take a Break.” Tap the button to begin your break.

Once activated, this will pause your activity on the platform for 8 hours.

You can set break reminders to help you build healthier habits over time. From the same Well-being section in Settings, you can choose how often you’d like to be reminded.

You can set reminders for every 10 minutes, 20 minutes, or 30 minutes, or turn them off completely if you prefer.
