The Honor Level System is an additional layer of moderation designed to help keep the community safe and supportive for everyone. It works by monitoring account behavior and applying automatic restrictions to accounts that may not be following the platform’s guidelines.
How the Honor Level System works
If an account is not in good standing, certain features may be temporarily restricted. This system is designed to:
- Reduce harmful or toxic behavior
- Protect the wider community
- Give users an opportunity to improve their conduct
TalkLife administrators may still step in to suspend or ban accounts if guidelines continue to be broken.
Improving your Honor Level
If your Honor Level has decreased, the best way to improve it is by:
- Following the community guidelines
- Engaging positively with others
- Avoiding behavior that could lead to further restrictions
As your account returns to good standing, your Honor Level can increase, and access to previously restricted features may be restored.
