What is the auto-delete feature for posts?
The auto-delete feature gives you more control over how long your posts stay visible. It allows you to create self-deleting posts that are automatically removed after a set period of time.
To create a self-deleting post, open the app and tap the plus button to enter post draft mode.
In the top right corner, tap on the stopwatch icon. This will activate the auto-delete feature and display a banner indicating when your post will be removed.
By default for this feature, posts are set to auto-delete after 24 hours, but you can adjust this duration to 48 hours or 72 hours depending on your preference.
Once you’re happy with your settings, you can continue writing your post and publish it as usual.
Can I remove the auto-delete option before posting?
Yes, if you change your mind while drafting your post, you can remove the auto-delete feature at any time.
Simply tap the cross on the auto-delete banner, and the feature will be turned off before you publish your post.
