What are Appreciation Posts?
Appreciation Posts are a special type of post designed to help you publicly recognize and celebrate other members of the community, they make it easier to express gratitude, recognition, and encouragement in a more meaningful way.. Unlike a standard tag, these posts highlight the person more prominently by featuring their profile photo and username at the top of the post, making your shoutout more visible and impactful.
How does it work?
When creating a post, the draft mode allows you to switch to an Appreciation Post by tapping on the icon that looks like an award ribbon (fourth icon from top-right in post draft mode), you select the type of post and tag the person you want to highlight.
Can I control who can tag me?
Yes. If you prefer to manage who can tag you in Appreciation Posts, go to Settings → Moderation Tools → Tagging. From there, you can choose to allow tagging from anyone, only from people you mutually follow, or from no one at all.
