What are Emotes?
Emotes are quick, expressive animated emojis designed to help you connect with others in a light, effortless way. Sometimes you don’t need a full conversation—you just want to acknowledge someone, celebrate a moment, or send a small signal of support.
How do I send an Emote?
Sending an emote is quick and intuitive. Just visit someone’s profile and tap the smiley icon located in the bottom right corner, next to the follow button. When you send an emote, it appears at the top of the recipient’s screen and gently moves downward, staying visible for a few seconds.
Can I turn Emotes off?
Yes, you’re always in control. If you prefer not to use emotes, you can turn them off at any time by going to the app’s settings via the sidebar, selecting ‘Preference’ and toggling off emotes. When disabled, you won’t send or receive them.
